Sermon: The Bigger the Stone. November 18, 2018

Today has been a difficult day. Evelyn, a beautiful child of God and cherished member of the Grace community, died early this morning. Of course, I didn’t know this would happen when I stood in the pulpit this past Sunday, but the last words of this sermon ended up being for her: “Even the sturdy gravestones will give way as we rise to the eternal newness of life. Amen”

Rest eternal grant Evie, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon her.
