Word

December 25, 2020

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. In him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness and the darkness, did not overcome it. And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father’s only son, full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-5, 14

Merry Christmas!

I got a new hat.

And a blessed morning with family.

And a Savior, the Word become flesh.

Not a bad day, and we’re only just getting started.

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Be well, friends. You are loved.

God, at Christmas you came down to make your home among your people. You are with us still. May the gifts of the Christ child, the gifts of peace, hope, joy, and love, break forth into this broken world today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
