Birthday

September 19, 2020

“This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24

Today is my birthday. I decided yesterday that I would give myself the gift of writing a short blog post.

You may find yourself thinking, “But what will I do with the three minutes I usually devote to reading your blog?” Well, as we mourn the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I would suggest meditating upon what you can do to make the world better and safer for all people. Having meditated, get to it.

May her memory be a blessing.

Have a wonderful my birthday, everyone.

Be well, friends. You are loved.

God, we thank you for giving us life. We rejoice that there is much to celebrate, we mourn that so much is broken. Give us courage for the days ahead. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
